We believe that parents deserve a moment of genuine restoration as much as children deserve a vibrant, safe space to play. Happy Days was born from a simple observation: that the environments built for young families are rarely designed with both generations in mind.

Inside our space inside The Journey Church, we established a non-profit soft play and cafe where architectural calm meets joyful energy—a warm, light-filled third-place for Lisburn families to slow down, connect, and breathe.

Our Story & Purpose

A Place of Quiet Intent

Happy Days operates as a not-for-profit venture. Every cup of specialty flat white poured, every birthday party celebrated, and every afternoon session on our custom soft-play frame goes directly back into supporting community initiatives in Lisburn. Our purpose is community cohesion, not commercial expansion.

We wanted to design an environment that feels generous. That means no admission charges for accompanying adults, plenty of distance between seating arrangements, and a cafe menu that uses high-quality ingredients.

By physically dividing the venue into distinct zones, we’ve created a rare balance. The Cafe remains a calm, contemporary haven while the adjacent play frame and toddler zones let the little ones explore freely and safely—always within comfortable eyesight of your table.

How we work

01 / Clean Play

Thoughtfully Managed

Our soft play area is built to accommodate children up to 10 years old (or 5ft 0”). We operate structured 90-minute play sessions, ensuring the space remains hygienic, calm, and never overcrowded. No booking is required—just arrive and play.

02 / The Cafe

Properly Brewed

We take our coffee seriously. From smooth flat whites to our seasonal iced mochas, our coffee is crafted with care by real baristas. Enjoy your drinks in the main cafe area or bring them straight into the soft play viewing zone while the kids play.

03 / Local Roots

Community Bound

Housed inside The Journey Church on Moira Road, we operate with a heart for our city. Every decision, from hosting relaxed Toddler Mornings with toast and juice included, to keeping our prices accessible, is rooted in serving Lisburn families.
